Bookshop's own monthly Book Group is open to everyone in the community and is centered around works by local authors. We discount the selected work 10% OFF the cover price for the month before the group meets, and then anyone can attend a community discussion facilitated by Julie Minnis followed by a dialog with author.

Our next Community Book Group will meet on Thursday, July 23rd at 7:30 pm to discuss Clifford Henderson's debute novel, Middle of Somewhere. Full of captivating turns and a cast of wonderfully quirky characters, it has all the humor that you would expect from this talented author who also happens to be co-founder of the Fun Institute, a school of improv and solo performance here in Santa Cruz.
